The auger is produced using robot welding for consistent quality
and perfect tooth geometry.
Rock Rippers are built on heavy duty thick wall tube using extra
heavy duty short pitch flighting.
Rock Ripper augers work best with considerable downforce, usually
limited by the weight or geometry of the crane or excavator. The Rock
Ripper will also work in normal soils.
The Rock Ripper will penetrate concrete, black top (tarmac),
stratified and shale type rock and compacted chalk. Some users are
now standardising on the Rock Ripper for all soil types as the
performance in hard ground is unrivalled.
The auger sizes range from 6" (150mm) up to 79"
(2000mm) diameter.
